Your Brunswick Marketplace is a bi-monthly newspaper
bringing you the best of Brunswick County  businesses. 
Your Brunswick Marketplace is the heart and pulse of local business.
We feature fascinating stories, detailed information, enlightening features and
 little known facts. In short, anything you might need to know about 
our local business community is or will be featured here. 
 
carolina is a delightfully classy new magazine -  for women and about women.
Published quarterly, carolina's goal is to educate, inform and enlighten
her readers about today's important issues. carolina shares personal stories with you,
brings a smile to your face, passes on a laugh and maybe even sheds a tear.

Our Staff
Linda Dagostino Rumsey
Publisher, loved this area enough to make Brunswick County,
North Carolina , her family’s home. Linda soon realized, however, that she was
utterly clueless about reliable and dependable businesses and services
available in the area. 
Her research resulted in the idea for Your Brunswick Marketplace, a tool for all
but especially newcomers. Her quest for friendship in her new hometown
eventually resulted in carolina , a magazine for women. Sister Publications
is the result of newly forged friendships.

Joanne Hennesy Thompson
 Editor, is another transplant to beautiful Brunswick County .
She and Linda clicked from their very first meeting. It was a natural progression
 for the two to become partners. Joanne ’s experience, enthusiasm and
curiosity are a good complement to Linda ’s thoughtful outlook, although they
are both on the zany side. Joanne loves encouraging businesses to invest in
Sister Publications, which she enthusiastically promotes. She is, after all,
excellent at shopping and a champion at being a good woman friend.

Don McCauley ICM, MTC, CH
 Advertising Consultant, has been transplanted to this area for
so long that he himself forgets he wasn’t born and bred here. Don has been
invaluable as the advertising consultant to Sister Publications.
Don brings nearly 30 years of experience in publicity and marketing to
the table. He is also the facilitator of the Free Publicity Focus Group (http://www.freepublicitygroup.com).
Don is Sister Publication’s token male.

Karen Joseph
 Art Director, another transplant to North Carolina and the most
seemingly staid woman of this diverse group, can “get down” with the best
 of  ‘em. She was a graphic designer in her previous life and graciously
shares her knowledge, pushes us towards excellence and gives carolina her
classy, sassy style.  She is enthusiastically supportive of women and
their challenges.

 Stanley Spain
 Printcess and Contributor, who was actually born in North Carolina ,
spent many years in the printing industry and thoroughly enjoys her typesetting
duties with Your Brunswick Marketplace. A lifelong writer, she also enjoys
writing her column, Another Fine Mess, for carolina . Women friends have
sustained and supported her throughout her life so she is a good fit for carolina .
 And as a devotee of local businesses and of good value, she really appreciates
Your Brunswick Marketplace.
